SQUASH TIGERS is pleased to announce the appointment of our new Head Squash Professional - Colin White!
Colin is originally from Northern Ireland and comes to SQUASHTIGERS with more than 30 years of elite coaching experience. He is a former Hungarian and Austrian National Coach and a tutor for the European and World Squash Federations Coach Education Programs where he is a member of the four-person World Coaching Panel. Colin holds the prestigious European Squash Federation Level 3 Coach Award. Most recently, he was the Head Coach to the Hackley's Boy's team and formerly worked with Paul as a Lead Coach at the Scozzie Squash Academy in Philadelphia.
A few words from our Program Director, Paul Frank:
I have known Colin for twenty five years - we met while both playing in a PSA Event in Budapest, Hungary and have been good friends since. Colin has enjoyed a much storied career, touching upon all aspects of the game as player, coach and a coach educator. Colin represented his home country of Northern Ireland in European Championships and then as his coaching career moved him, went on to play for the Hungarian Men's Team, coached elite top 50 PSA players and eventually became Austrian National Coach.
By way of giving back to the sport of late, Colin has continued to do great work for the World Squash Federation in Coach Education and worked wonders at the Hackley School.
Colin became a Lead Coach at my previous program, the Scozzie Squash Academy in Philadelphia in 2017. Scozzie was the most successful junior program in the USA at that time and Colin was a major contributor. I feel lucky to have recruited Colin to SQUASH TIGERS and with him on board we will further push on to our mission of creating Champions.
