Updates, Tournament Coaching, Planning meetings and more...

A cold winter is “hopefully” coming to a close and with it preparation for Nationals and then Spring tournaments is well and truly front and center.  It’s at this time that I start to open up planning meetings again (to both members and non-members) and with that in mind please reply to this email if you’d like to sit down to discuss plans such as:

  • Preparation for Nationals and making sure your child has a clear weekly program

  • Rebooting from school squash and making a plan to move to that next level of achievement

  • Looking at Spring and Summer events and how best to prepare

Meetings are 30 minutes in duration and you should leave with a solid grasp of the pathway forward, we’ll provide you with a questionnaire beforehand to establish a clear agenda.

Weekly points

  • Good luck to all Tiger players representing their respective schools at the High School Nationals this coming weekend - biggest event on the US Squash calendar!

  • We had a baker's dozen of our Squash Tigers in Texas last weekend and if you missed the report, you can find it on our blog!

  • With Middle and High School squash winding down, a reminder that we offer a FREE TRIAL to new players who may wish to experience a Squash Tiger Squad and push their squash forward.  If your child has school squash buddies who might be interested, please feel free to pass on this email.

  • For those playing the Calvert Gold we have coaching available - please email Coach Claire to reserve your place

  • Summer Camp Plans are being released next week.  A reminder that our normal schedule runs until June 1.  This is followed by two weeks of our “Pre-Summer” training and our renowned Summer Camps kicking off subsequently - stay tuned for the details and signups!

See you all at training!

Paul and the team

P.S. a reminder that we are providing access for adults to play at the club (either squash or Squash 57!) - ideal for parents who might want to enjoy the game their kids play or for anyone looking for a new interest!
