We are excited to announce the successful closing of our seed investment round! This milestone in our growth trajectory is led by top investors known for their strong entrepreneurial acumen and successful track record of identifying and scaling high-growth ventures. Their involvement with us not only brings invaluable strategic support but also ensures a solid foundation for the academy's future expansion.
SQUASHTIGERS was founded in 2021 by Aniket Khera, a squash dad, and Paul Frank, an experienced squash coach who has a proven record of coaching some of the most successful juniors in the United States.
Aniket expressed his excitement: "Squash at the junior level in the U.S. is experiencing a significant growth surge, and with strong financial backing, we are poised to make a substantial and lasting impact on the development of junior squash players nationwide. This significant investment equips us with resources to expand quickly and strategically, allowing us to materially scale operations by hiring coaches and opening new locations. It also gives us dry powder to expand our offerings, marketing and reach meaningfully. Our long-term vision is to become one of the most respected junior squash coaching academies in the United States."
Paul shared more about the academy's innovative approach: "Our junior academy focuses on building a solid foundation of tactical group play and personalized instruction that supports players at every level to those aiming for college recruitment as well as recreational players who are simply looking to improve their game. We emphasize maximizing playtime and providing individualized coaching while also making sure that the curriculum remains accessible and engaging for players of all skill levels. With this investment, we are excited to continue our growth and expand our impact within the squash community."
This investment represents a pivotal moment for us. With this financial support, we are primed to lead the way in nurturing the next generation of squash players, empowering them to reach their full potential and achieve their athletic goals.
