PAUL FRANK
DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMS
Director of Programs, Paul is an Australian with an extensive playing background, top level coaching qualifications from Australia, Asia, and England, a Master’s degree in Psychology, and over 25 years’ experience coaching elite level players. Paul has personally coached 59 National Champions in four different countries. Paul was formerly the Scozzie Squash Director for the past ten years, and before that was Scottish Squash National Coach.
CLAIRE GADSBY
DIRECTOR OF PATHWAYS
Claire is a multi-time Scottish National Champion and comes to SQUASHTIGERS with unparalleled competitive acumen. As a junior Claire was ranked in the top two in Scotland throughout her career, and upon reaching the senior ranks immediately won the National Title on two occasions. Claire has represented Scotland on the world stage numerous times, including earlier this year where she was part of the successful Scottish Women's team who competed in the European Team Championships in Eindhoven, Holland. In addition to her coaching duties, Claire is responsible for new family introductions, initial assessments, parent enquiries, starter packs, rehearsal tournaments, etc.
HUMA BEKHIET
TOURING PRO (PA)
Huma began his squash journey at the Alexandria Sporting Club in Egypt and his extensive junior career included participation in events throughout Europe and the world. A Denison graduate, he captained the team in his last two seasons.
As a coach Huma had experience with players of all levels at the Alexandria Sporting Club, one of the best known and most auspicious squash academies in Egypt. More recently he coached at the Saturn Club in Buffalo and acted as Assistant Coach of Men’s and Women’s Teams at Denison University.
EBONIE REAVES
TEACHING PROFESSIONAL & SPORTS PSYCHOLOGIST
Ebonie comes to us from Westminster School in CT where she coached the Varsity Girls team making a significant impact on both during her time at the helm. Ebonie has also coached at StreetSquash Newark. She has a B.Sc. in Exercise Physiology and a Masters of Sport and Exercise Psychology. In addition to her normal coaching responsibilities, she has extensive experience in worked with a wide array of sports including athletics, specifically with the Springfield College Tennis Team.
LAURENT ELRIANI
HEAD PROFESSIONAL (PA)
Laurent is one of the preeminent coaches in the United States, having coached five players to the coveted #1 ranking position, including reigning National Men’s Champion, Andrew Douglas and the National U17 Champion, his own son Jack. A driving force behind the Heights Casino program for 15 years, Laurent was instrumental in bringing Heights to arguably the most successful junior development pathway in the United States. In recognition of this, he himself was Awarded the 2017 United States Olympic Committee National Coach of the Year Award. As a player Laurent reached world #58 and was French #3.
MICHAEL CRAIG
HEAD PROFESSIONAL (NJ)
Michael brings a wealth of high level squash acumen. A Trinity graduate, Michael was a key member of their squash dynasty; a member of two National Championship winning teams, he was named All American and in 2017 awarded the CSA Most Valuable Player. Additionally, Michael has represented of Ireland on numerous occasions including World Junior Championships and European Team Championships and Northern Ireland in the 2014 Commonwealth Games. In his most recent coaching role in New York, Michael was a key contributor to one of the best respected junior programs in the United States.
JAMIE RUGGIERO
TOURING PRO (PA)
As a Touring Pro, Jamie works extensively with our best athletes in elite training as well as strength and conditioning for injury prevention. Collegiately, Jamie played #1 for Williams and was a 4-time All-NESCAC Team Selection. Jamie has achieved a top ranking of 172 on the Professional Tour.
